My View on the book ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL

The book is very enjoyable to read. It is quite addictive. Herriot uses a writing style that is pleasant. He is descriptive without rambling. Each character is well-developed, and the setting sounds like a beautiful place to be. Because it is written in first person, the reader feels included and like a part of the story. The reader is constantly rooting for the young veterinarian despite the odds. This story really plays with the reader’s emotions. At times, the reader may laugh at Siegfried’s ridiculous forgetfulness or Tristan’s seemingly never-ending bad luck. Other times the reader may find himself raging at the utter stupidity and absurdity at the way some farmers treat their animals. There is also suspense, joy, amazement, and sadness. The book serves its office well. It is truly a very entertaining novel.

A New Beginning

A beginning is a new start, a refreshing new part in a person's life. As I am just beginning to write my first blog post. It is an interesting beginning, being that I have never done this before. I am a bit nervous, but recently my older sister just started writing, which has set me more at ease. She is aspiring to be a writer. Right now she writes little tidbits and short stories, which, in my opinion, are very well written. If you are currently reading this, you should check out her blog at
take-the-shortcut.blogspot.com. This is a new step in my life, hopefully a step that will mature and grow me as a Christian. Well, currently this is all I have to say. So have a wonderful morning, midday, or midnight!
