The Seasons declare God's goodness

As autumn is drawing near, I just wanted to give glory to God for creating such marvelous and vibrant seasons.  Fall is my favorite season because of the beautifully colored leaves. No two leaves have the same exact coloring. God is good and His greatness shows in His handiwork.

Daniel 12:3

This verse is my oldest sister's favorite verse. It is Daniel 12:3, "And those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the sky above; and those who turn many to righteousness are like the stars forever and ever." This verse is very comforting and very encouraging.
If we lack wisdom, we need but to ask of God who gives it freely. We must ask in faith.
We are witnesses of Christ. If we share the gospel of Christ Jesus our Lord, we will plant seeds of righteousness in others. Only God can cause the growth, but we should plant as many seeds as we can in order to help bring others to salvation through Jesus' atoning blood. In doing so, we bring people to righteousness through the blood of Jesus.
May God grant us wisdom and faith to obey His commands and bring many to Him that we may shine for Him.

My View on the book ALL CREATURES GREAT AND SMALL

The book is very enjoyable to read. It is quite addictive. Herriot uses a writing style that is pleasant. He is descriptive without rambling. Each character is well-developed, and the setting sounds like a beautiful place to be. Because it is written in first person, the reader feels included and like a part of the story. The reader is constantly rooting for the young veterinarian despite the odds. This story really plays with the reader’s emotions. At times, the reader may laugh at Siegfried’s ridiculous forgetfulness or Tristan’s seemingly never-ending bad luck. Other times the reader may find himself raging at the utter stupidity and absurdity at the way some farmers treat their animals. There is also suspense, joy, amazement, and sadness. The book serves its office well. It is truly a very entertaining novel.

A New Beginning

A beginning is a new start, a refreshing new part in a person's life. As I am just beginning to write my first blog post. It is an interesting beginning, being that I have never done this before. I am a bit nervous, but recently my older sister just started writing, which has set me more at ease. She is aspiring to be a writer. Right now she writes little tidbits and short stories, which, in my opinion, are very well written. If you are currently reading this, you should check out her blog at
take-the-shortcut.blogspot.com. This is a new step in my life, hopefully a step that will mature and grow me as a Christian. Well, currently this is all I have to say. So have a wonderful morning, midday, or midnight!
